Our Story

History

The club started in 2004 and is now well established in our West Bay based club house. Over the years, we've grown into a vibrant community of paddlers, all united by our love for the water and the stunning Jurassic Coast.

Giving Back

In The Community

The club is an integral part of the Bridport and West Bay community, actively supporting local initiatives and environmental causes.

RNLI Fundraising

Participated in the 2019 RNLI Raft Race, raising over £2,700 for charity. A beloved event for locals and visitors alike.

Youth Development

Regular collaboration with Jurassic Explorer Scouts, providing kayaking sessions, equipment, and expert instruction.

Environmental Care

Regular litter picking events to help protect and preserve our beautiful coastline for everyone to enjoy.

Looking Forward

We intend to hold more events and do more in the community now that we can resume our activities in full, continuing our commitment to the local area.
